Terms of Service
Please review our service terms before using the Mia HR platform
1. Service Agreement
These Terms of Service ("TOS") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Mia HR governing your use of our platform, software, products, and services (collectively, the "Services").
2. Eligibility
To use the Services, you must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract with Mia HR. By using the Services, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.
3. Service Usage
Mia HR provides human resources management software as a service. Subject to these TOS, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to access and use the Services solely for your internal business purposes.
4. User Accounts
To access the Services, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities conducted through your account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating an account
- Promptly update your account information to keep it accurate, current, and complete
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to or use of your account
- Ensure that you exit from your account at the end of each session
5. Subscription Plans and Billing
Mia HR offers various subscription plans. The features and limitations of each plan are described on our pricing page. You agree to pay all applicable fees for the plan you select.
Subscriptions are billed in advance on either a monthly or annual basis, depending on the billing cycle selected during purchase. You authorize us to charge your payment method for all fees incurred.
6. Data and Privacy
Our Privacy Policy, available at Privacy Policy, describes how we collect, use, and disclose information about you and your use of the Services.
You retain all rights to your data. You grant us a limited license to use your data solely to provide, maintain, and improve the Services.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Services to:
- Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party rights
- Upload, transmit, or distribute any content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable
- Impersonate any person or entity or falsely state or misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity
- Interfere with or disrupt the Services or servers or networks connected to the Services
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Services or other users' accounts
- Use any automated means to access or use the Services
8. Intellectual Property
The Services and all associated intellectual property rights are and will remain the property of Mia HR and its licensors. Nothing in these TOS grants you any right, title, or interest in the Services except for the limited license expressly set forth above.
9. Termination
You may terminate your account at any time by following the instructions on the Services. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services if:
- You breach these TOS
- We are required to do so by law
- The provision of the Services to you is no longer commercially viable
10. Modifications to the Services
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Services or any part thereof at any time. We will use reasonable efforts to provide notice of material changes to the Services.
11. Disclaimers
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
12. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL MIA HR BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TOS OR YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICES.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these TOS from time to time. If we make material changes to these TOS, we will notify you through the Services or by other means. Your continued use of the Services after the effective date of the revised TOS constitutes your acceptance of the revised TOS.
