Product Designer, Consumer

About the Role

We're looking for a Product Designer specialized in consumer experiences to join our design team. In this role, you'll design intuitive and engaging experiences for the employee-facing components of our HR platform, making complex HR processes simple and accessible for end users.

You'll work closely with product managers, engineers, and other designers to create designs that meet user needs while aligning with business goals. While this position is based in North America, you'll collaborate with team members across multiple time zones.

Responsibilities

  • Design user-centered interfaces for the consumer-facing components of our HR platform
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for new features
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions
  • Collaborate with product managers to define product requirements and user stories
  • Work with engineers to ensure proper implementation of designs
  • Contribute to our design system to maintain consistency across the platform
  • Advocate for user needs throughout the product development process
  • Stay informed about design trends and best practices in HR tech and consumer applications

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in product design, UX/UI design, or similar roles
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating consumer-focused design work
  • Experience with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD
  • Knowledge of design systems and component-based design
  • Understanding of usability principles and user research methods
  • Ability to translate complex processes into simple user interfaces
  • Experience collaborating with product and engineering teams
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Based in North America for alignment with our design operations
